Q. What makes you different from other website design companies in NZ?
We’ve been operating for over ten years now, and one of our key focuses is not on using a website as a box you’ve got to tick. It’s all about generating new business and results for your organization. If you’re investing time and money into a website you should be getting a return on that investment, and hopefully building your business and getting new customers. We have a key focus that surrounds that, ensuring the prospects and customers we deal with get everything they need to actually get those results, which is more than just a pretty looking website.
Q. What sparked your interest in SEO?
From what I was saying earlier it’s all about getting results out of a website. A key aspect of having any successful website is getting targeted traffic to the site, and once they are there persuading them to do business with you. Now we do a lot of work with our customers on making sure that when someone arrives at their website they will be persuaded to do business with them. But in the end that’s not going to be very useful if you don’t actually get good targeted customers to your website in the first place. As we all know there are a huge proportion of people searching for information online, and we see SEO as a critical way of getting that targeted traffic.

Q. How did you find out about A+?
We noticed you at the top of the search engine ranking when we typed in SEO. We were looking for somebody to work with for a number of our clients, and we wanted to deal with the experts. If you can come in at the top of the rankings for SEO, which is probably the most competitive search engine phrase out there, and you can maintain that position, then clearly you guys know exactly what you’re talking about.
Q. Were you skeptical about what we could do for you and your clients in terms of SEO?
Yeah, every SEO company out there claims that they can do all this magical stuff and guarantee you this result and that result. So it’s always a concern that people can actually follow through and deliver. Now having the credit of actually being number one on your phrases definitely helped to persuade us. Also there’s the approach you guys take that to us seems very logical in terms of understanding what Google is trying to do, how it works out how to rank people at the top, and rather than trying to trick them into ranking you up there you actually create well optimized websites that will rank highly.

Q. We have done SEO for some of your clients, what have their results been like?
We recommend all our customers, when they are really getting serious about using SEO as a tool to generate targeted traffic, talk to A+. More than 10 of our clients have worked with you guys and have got fantastic results. They’re ranking at the top of the search engines and getting lots of targeted traffic. Then they’ve implemented the Zeald plans on their websites and they’re converting that traffic into real business and getting great return on investment for that.
We definitely recommend A+ as a fantastic option; they know what they’re talking about. It’s none of the gimmicks a lot of these companies out there use. What I usually recommend is the free services that we offer. The first is a free website audit, if you’ve got an existing website one of our consultants will sit down, go through, and help you understand how to improve the results you’re getting. From there they can let you know how we do things and how we can help you in that regard. But there is no obligation at all there. They are there really to give you some advice. So if you’ve got a website that’s probably your best bet.
